Taking happiness seriously

We provide an education for children and parents who want to live a life where happiness is the overriding goal. Therefore happiness forms the foundation of the experiences that we offer.

Paying more attention to happiness should be a component of our efforts to achieve both human and sustainable development.

Helen Clark, Head of the United Nations Development Program

We attain a state of mind that can be considered happiness once we ally personal achievement to the learning of things performed together – my achievement is the achievement with others.

José Pacheco, Dicionário de Valores

The Perma Model

We are strongly inspired by the PERMA model which was designed by positive psychologist Martin Seligman with five core element of psychological well-being and happiness. We have adapted elements within the model to reflect life in our centre.
